Dr Pawan Prasher is Associate Director of Amritsar Eye Hospital, and Professor of Ophthalmology at SGRD Medical
College, Amritsar. After completion of residency in Ophthalmology, he did a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases
and Refractive Surgery from University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (USA); and a fellowship in Ocular
Pathology from Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California, Los Angeles (USA). Dr Prasher has authored numerous)
publications In peer reviewed journals and has given presentations in various regional, national and international
meetings. He has been serving as an editorial board member and as a reviewer for a number of international and and national journals. He has been a recipient of research award from American ociety of Cataract and Refractive surgery, Pradeep Swarup Award from All India Opthalmological Society, Developing Nations grant from Asia Pacific Academy of Opthalmology and Young Achiever's award from Nort Zone Opthalmological Society.
